Would you like learn to climb autonomously on outdoor rock?

This course will allow you to learn about the material and rope techniques necessary for climbing single pitch routes on natural cliffs. Risk management and problem shooting will also be addressed during the course.

Course content
• During the first day: introduction to cliff climbing with a presentation of general principles, equipment and rope techniques necessary for single pitch outdoor rock climbing. Application of the techniques and discover climbing on natural rock.
• During the second day: repetition of techniques, improvement of skills and deepening of knowledge. Various complementary techniques, useful to the practice of climbing in a natural environment. Also details of the equipment in place on the cliff will be taught.

Two days at the cliff
Prerequisites
Have completed Basic Course 2 or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Program and Course Location
The sites planned for the outdoor climbing days are communicated by the instructor 2 days before the course. In case of unfavorable weather, the cliff days can take place in one of our climbing gyms.
Inscriptions
Registration can be made on our climbing site no later than 1 day before the course.

The instructor will inform you by telephone of the location of the course and the list of equipment to be taken. It is possible to borrow equipment free of charge from our rooms when you make contact.
