Types of courses

For a week, the children practice climbing in the mornings and take part in nature discovery activities in the afternoons. One overnight stay is planned for a unique group experience, before returning home the rest of the week.

Climbing and nature week with 1 overnight stay

Course content: The morning climbs with the children are supervised by a ASSE certified instructor, and are generally conducted as follows:
- Fun warm-up
- Bouldering
- Top roping
- Training on climbing technique
- Various games related to the discipline

During the afternoons, the children go out to discover nature. These afternoons allow the children to become familiar with various activities related to the nature that surrounds them and to exercise. The program for the week can be as follows*:
- Plant picking
- Realisation of recipes with wild plants and berries
- Forest sofa
- Outdoor games
- Fun hikes along the river
- And many others

* This programme is given as an example. It is subject to change according to weather conditions and the guide's suggestions. The full programme will be sent to you the weekend before the camp.
Duration: 8.30am to 5.00pm
Age: Between 6 and 12 years old
Prerequisites: No previous knowledge required
A good dose of enthusiasm and energy
What to bring: • For climbing: sports clothes, water bottle, picnic and two snacks (climbing equipment is provided by the gym).
• For outdoor activities: comfortable walking shoes, 10-litre rucksack with wide shoulder straps, hat and weather-appropriate clothing.
• Specific equipment: depending on the week's programme, certain equipment (swimming costume, special shoes) may be required and will be specified in the final programme.
• For the night: sleeping bag, pyjamas, toiletries, small torch, cuddly toy if the children need it and any other specific equipment that may be specified in the week's programme. (Overnight equipment will be brought by car, so please bring a second bag for the night.)

Note: The belay techniques necessary to use the climbing gym facilities independently are not taught during this week.
Registration: A minimum of 5 participants is required for this week. The course is confirmed or cancelled 1 month before the start date.
Entrance fees and climbing equipment are included in the course price, as are all activities organized during the week. This week takes place from 5 inscriptions.
